As important and fundamental as breathing is to life, it is surprising how little attention it gets. Breathing is something that just happens and most of the time we don't think about it. At least in the Western tradition there is not much thought put into the power of breathing.

One thing that is such a part of daily life is deep breathing and it is probably something that people don’t think often. Many of us tend to look upon deep breathing as part of our yoga exercises or something you do when you are fed up. We fail to realise the various health benefits of deep breathing.   • Over period of time of deep breathing, it can promote good posture. So in order to maintain a good posture, try to deep breath daily.
